October Trailers

Hey y’all!
If you’re new to the blog, you might not know that this is one of my favorite posts to do. I love looking at the gorgeous trailers and finding out which books are releasing! Also, I must apologize for the lack of posting recently but I have a little note in the sidebar explaining about the start of high school and how hard it is socially and with schoolwork. Also, Homecoming was this weekend! It was amazing, and I may write a blog post on it on my personal blog. I also finished Florida Virtual School so I actually have time in the afternoons to dedicate to blogging again. But y’all didn’t come here to hear about my personal life – you came for the books. I hope y’all enjoy!

Eve and Adam by Michael Grant and Katherine Applegate

I love how they summed up the premise. I’ve actually read this one (review coming soon!) and it’s fantastic. Not only does it do an excellent job dealing with the question of whether perfection truly exists, but it’s witty, action-packed, and entertaining. The video does a great job of summing it up!

Promised by Caragh O’Brien

I haven’t actually read the series but I’ve heard AMAZING things about it. It’s on my to-buy list and watching the trailer makes me want to read it even more!

Crewel by Gennifer Albin

I saw this title at BEA and I really wanted to get it but I didn’t end up getting a copy. It looks incredible. I love anything dealing with fate, especially after reading Warped by Maurissa Guibord. Everybody has been gushing about it and I saw Gennifer speak at Teen Author Carnival during BEA week and loved her! I can’t wait to read it.

Blind Spot by Laura Ellen

Wow. First of all, that cover. That cover itself would make me buy the book. That VIDEO. The premise sounds chilling and utterly fascinating so this one is going on the to-buy list!

Venom by Fiona Paul

I’ve read this book and have said many times before that this is exactly what I’m looking for in a book. The setting, beautiful writing, characters, romance, mystery, and everything about this book just made me fall in love with it. I definitely cite this as one of the best books that I’ve read this year.

Beautiful Redemption by Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl

I’m honestly going to cry when the series ends. I SOBBED after Beautiful Chaos and I will definitely be crying at the end of this one. Plus, at midnight on the night of the movie’s release, I will be glued to my seat in the movie theater, having dragged all my friends along to see it. The trailer takes my breath away!

Breathe by Sarah Crossan

This is such an interesting premise. While it sounds more like a survival book (which I enjoy, but they’re not my favorite), I’ll definitely be looking at this one. I’ve heard really great things from a lot of bloggers and readers that I trust!

Velveteen by Daniel Marks

Ever since the cover was revealed, a lot of people have been PINING for this book. Dark and sinister, it sounds delightfully twisted. The character sounds intriguing and I’m itching to get my hands on this one, especially before Halloween this year!

These are just a few of the absolutely incredible releases that October has to bring! There are a few that I’m just dying to share with y’all, and I will! I hope y’all enjoyed this post! I’m looking forward to being able to blog as much as I want again.

Love y’all!
Grace

    • I actually think that the cast is going to do a really good job. A lot of people were upset because Alden doesn’t look like how they imagined Ethan but people also thought that for the Hunger Games and look how that turned out! The trailer is even better than I hoped for! What do you think?

      • I was actually really surprised by the trailer. I think the special effects will be very well done. Also, it looked like the movie will follow most of the book plot line. I did picture Lena and Ethan differently, but I know that they can’t pick actors exactly like I pictured in my mind. I was still happy with the actors they chose and I can’t wait to see how the movie turns out.

  1. Trailer roundup–what a great idea. (I am too lazy to seek them out individually so thank you for this handy grouping). So glad you liked Venom!! Look for BELLADONNA in July of 2013
